1. From Kyoto Station (JR"京都駅")
Take JR Biwako Line("琵琶湖線")at Kyoto Station, and get off at Minami-Kusatsu Station("南草津駅")(20min).
2. From Kansai International Airport ("関西国際空港")
You may have three possible choices to select.
(2.1) Take airport rapid line--Haruka bound for Kyoto Station (1h20min). Then, take JR Biwako Line and get off at Minami-Kusatsu Station (20min).
(2.2) Take Kansaikuko Line to Osaka Station (1h11min). Then take JR Tokaido-Sanyo Line("東海道山陽本線") and get off at Minami-Kusatsu Station (48min).
(2.3) Take Airport Bus bound for Kyoto Station from Kansai International Airport (1h25min). After arriving at Kyoto Station, take JR Biwako Line and get off at Minami-Kusatsu Station (20min).
3. From Osaka Station (JR"大阪駅")
Take JR Tokaido-Sanyo Line at Osaka Station, and get off at Minami-Kusatsu Station (48min).
4. From Minami-Kusatsu Station(JR"南草津駅")
Take OHMI Bus("近江鉄道")which is bound for Ritsumeikan University BKC Campus (15min).
